We’re looking for a New York City based Operations Associate/Driver Helper to participate in our Delivery and Customer On -Site operations and activities. You will provide assistance in packing and delivering items to our customers and also provide assistance in placing on-site orders for our clients. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Above all else, the ideal candidate will be dependable, have reliable transportation to and from our warehouse, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Getting orders correctly ordered, picked and shipped to our customers is the lifeblood of our business. In addition, you must be fit and able to lift products on a regular basis.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Lifting 30 plus pounds on a repetitive continuous basis. Able to stand on feet 90% of shift, including reaching, bending, stooping and lifting.
  • Some computer skills helpful.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, make recommendations and draw conclusions.
  • Strong interpersonal savvy; ability to relate well to all levels and backgrounds.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently. Organized and able to handle multiple tasks. Self-directed able to work autonomously
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization and business partners.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment to meet tight production deadlines
  • Able to take direction from written and oral instructions
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment and possess solid work ethics
  • Must be able to maintain accuracy and detail oriented
  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • High school degree or equivalent

You’ll be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Monitor inventory levels and rotate stock, check expiration dates and discard any expired product
  • Place weekly orders of required product via iPad with CE, include cleaning products if needed
  • CE will alert you of backorders, and when item will be available; if a substitution is available, we will alert you
  • Restock snack items and beverages first thing in the morning and as needed throughout the day
  • Check that fruit is free of bruises, and discard any rotten or bruised fruit Drives truck to and from scheduled delivery destination.
  • Performs loading and unloading of freight
  • Candidates will work with our fulfillment team to receive, prepare, load and deliver coffee to some the most influential and progressive offices in the NJ/NY Metropolitan area.
  • At these accounts, they will manage inventory, properly stock designated areas, troubleshoot basic problems and make recommendations in pursuit of a better customer experience.
  • Candidates will be expected to wear many hats and may need to step in and help in areas that are not necessarily delivery related.
  • Ensure stock closets are neat and orderly
