New Jersey-based office refreshment service appoints 10-year industry veteran to newly created position of Chief Growth Officer

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (June 20, 2017) — New Jersey-based office refreshment service, Corporate Essentials announced Friday the appointment of Joe Simonovich as its new Chief Growth Officer. Simonovich will start in the new role effective July 1.

In his new role at Corporate Essentials, Simonovich will oversee all aspects of the company’s growth strategy including marketing, new and existing business development, customer service, research and development, new products and technology. He will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Judson Kleinman.

“The promotion of Joe to the role of Chief Growth Officer is integral to the continued success and long-term strategy of Corporate Essentials,” said Kleinman. “He has been an industry thought leader, and a key member of our leadership team over the past ten years.

The shift from overseeing all of the company’s day-to-day operations to being able to focus on our strategy for growth will help to strengthen our position as a leader in the office refreshment industry.”

Simonovich brings nearly 15 years of executive and marketing leadership to the role, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at Corporate Essentials where he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company as it nearly doubled in size over the past few years, as well as leading the company’s rebrand in 2014.

In the years prior, Simonovich led the company’s marketing initiatives and co-founded Corporate Essentials’ B2C channel, Shoffee.com in 2007. Previously, he held several positions with office product companies including Office Depot, Allied Office Products and Accurate Office Supply in roles in marketing and customer service.

Simonovich participated in the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) Executive Development Program at Michigan State University in 2016.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He resides in Denville, New Jersey with his wife Jennifer Polino Simonovich and their daughter Zoe.
