Since they started selling coffee to New York City from their first MUDTRUCK in 2001, MUD Coffee has established itself as the city’s “everyman” coffee; and now Corporate Essentials is excited to be MUD Coffee’s exclusive office coffee partner.
According to their Wikipedia page, MUD Coffee is an East Village, New York City-based coffee company that started by selling its own blend out of a converted Consolidated Edison step-van known as the MUDTRUCK.
It can usually be found on weekdays parked by the Astor Place. MUD Coffee has been voted best cup of coffee in New York by Time Out New York, Village Voice and, most recently by Rachael Ray.
Recently, MUD has pulled their trucks off the streets for maintenance, leaving thousands of New Yorkers searching for their favorite coffee at work.
Corporate Essentials will be offering all three varieties of MUD Coffee in in five-pound bags of whole bean coffee, as well as 6-ounce fraction packs of MUD’s standard MUDTRUCK Blend (coming soon).
The most exciting offering for offices in NYC, Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey might be Corporate Essentials’ Cafection Total1 Bean-to-Cup Brewer with all three MUD Coffee offerings, brewed exactly to their desired specs; one cup at a time. The Total1 brewer will also make espresso-based drinks using MUD’s Mojo Espresso beans.
