Caribou_cashLet’s say for a moment, you’re a young professional working in an office without an office coffee service. What? You are a young professional working in an office without an office coffee service?

Perfect!
How much do you think you spend in a year on coffee? Does $500 a year sound a little low, or just about right? No? You don’t think you spend that much?
Well, according to a newly released Workonomix Survey from Accounting Principals, half of the America Workforce spends about $20 a week on coffee for a grand total of more than $1,000 per year!
While the majority of those surveyed, 42 percent, believed that commuting was the work expense that they would most want reimbursed by their employer, it is clear that having an employer provide them with an office coffee service should have been given more consideration.
“Seeing studies like this can really open some eyes,” said Judson Kleinman, President of Corporate Essentials. “It allows us to show our customers and prospective customers alike, just how valuable providing an office coffee service can be to their employees.”
